01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Slice entire block of Hawaiian rolls horizontally to form a top and bottom section without separating individual rolls.
03 - Place the bottom half of rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Layer sliced cheddar cheese evenly across. Add optional deli ham or turkey if desired.
04 - Position the top half of the rolls over the layered fillings.
05 - Combine melted unsalted butter with optional mustard, honey, and garlic powder. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and roll tops are golden brown.
07 - Cool for 2 minutes, then slice into individual mini sandwiches. Serve while warm.
