01 - Place shredded coconut in blender. Add hot water. Blend at maximum speed for 2-3 minutes until mixture is homogeneous and creamy.
02 - Strain mixture through cheesecloth or clean kitchen towel over large bowl, pressing firmly to extract all liquid.
03 - Pour coconut milk into clean bottle using funnel. Store in refrigerator up to 4 days. Shake well before using.
